LE TOUR DE FRANCE.

Print

Ive used various visual techniques to create posters for the Tour De France

First of all I used straight forward typography then Ive used a visual technique where the type becomes visible from a distance but vanished if you stare at them to long.

showing the world in its true colour.

Print

The Colours we see are reflected light of objects not the actual colour of the objects.

We see in RGB so a Yellow Banana is actually Blue.
Red, blue and green light hits the object and the blue light is absorbed and the red and green light is reflected. Red and green make yellow so that why we see a banana as yellow.

Classic Cocktails.

Print

Everyone likes cocktails but very few people know what goes into making them so I  used blocks of colour to represent the raito of spirits that go into each cocktail. I also used a geometric shape to show what type of glass they should be served in.

I wanted to visuals the signs and feelings of depression to help people understand and know the signs if they might be suffering or someone they know might be showing the signs of suffering

I received lots of positive feedback from medical institutions around the world and have linked up with mental health America who plan to use the artwork in an upcoming campaign.

Vanashing Type.

Print

I developed a visual technique where concentrating on the top word makes the bottom word slowly disappear.

I used different messages so while people are concentrating on the word the message im trying to get across is more likely to stick in their head.

Artist colour bars.

Print

I asked friends to describe their favourite peice of famous art in a way as to not give away what it is.

I used colour bars taken from the art work because I wanted to see if the colours and the description could make people visulise the artwork in their head and therefore have a connection and want to revisit it. We all think we know famous art inside out but if you take another look something new always comes to light.
